Time is Power

Dear JustFund Community,

Our flagship grantmaking solution: the JustFund Common Application™ is the nation’s first — and only — common application platform  to move money quickly. Rather than requiring organizations to complete dozens of separate and time-consuming grant proposals, our common application platform saves grantseekers valuable time and allows them to apply to multiple funding opportunities at once.

How much time? Over the past 5 years, we have saved grantseekers 28 years (244,000 hours!) in application time that can instead be used toward mission-advancing work. We know that smaller organizations do not have the staff or budget to repeatedly submit the same information in multiple forms or to participate in complicated philanthropic processes. This perpetuates the inequity and systemic barriers to funding.  Time is power and we are giving power back to organizations doing the work on the frontlines.

The JustFund Common Application™ reduces the time and effort it takes nonprofits to write and submit grant applications and also makes it easier for funders to manage their grant processes, including reviewing applications and preparing dockets. JustFund’s technology also allows organizations to apply for multiple funding opportunities, giving them access to a broader funder community.

It’s a win-win solution for both our values-aligned funders and the folks doing incredible work in their communities.

JustFund was built by funders and organizers of color and we continue to improve the platform from regular feedback from you. Through focus groups and workshops, we are learning how to make the grant process more accessible to everyone. We are proud to have a 9.8 NPS (net promoter score) that reflects our commitment to building an accessible, high-quality, intuitive product.

By offering the JustFund Common Application™ and our suite of grantmaking solutions, JustFund is leveraging technology to reset philanthropy for good. Together, we are revolutionizing the way money moves.

If you are not yet a part of the JustFund funder community, I invite you to sign up for a funder demo with me today and see how our grantmaking solutions can help you move money in alignment with your values.

Warmly,

Iara Peng, Founder & CEO
