Welcome 2023 New (1)

Welcome 2023 JustFund Partners

In 2023, JustFund welcomed over 20 new partners committed to centering equity in their grantmaking and working together to #resetphilanthopy for good. Values-aligned funders including: California Wellness Foundation, Communities First, Liberty Hill Foundation, Newman’s Own Foundation, Siegel Family Endowment, Social Venture Partners International and Zoom Cares made the switch to the common grant application, making it simple and easy for organizations to apply for their funding opportunities and to use that common application to apply to other funds.

Our new partners are diverse, from community foundations, to collaborative funds, to pooled funds, regranting organizations, family foundations, corporate foundations, and donor networks. Together, these new JustFunders found common ground in their desire to streamline their grantmaking process and prioritize their applicants’ experience.

Along with our existing partners, new JustFunders ran 113 grant cycles in 2023 using the JustFund Common Application and brought in 3690 new applicants. They moved $71M together and saved applicants a collective six years of time they would have spent applying through a traditional grant process that leaders could put toward mission-advancing work.

Our growing community of JustFunders and their applicants are working together to build a platform that is by us for us, and that prioritizes moving more money, more equitably to historically excluded communities. We appreciate the trust these partners have in JustFund to build a new way to give; it’s hard work and sometimes we get it wrong before we get it right, but our partners are resilient and patient and know that our innovative technology is paving the way for a new type of grantmaking, one that allows philanthropy to align their practices with their core values.

Welcome to the incredible network of new partners at JustFund who joined us in 2023!
