$100 million moved and counting...

We’ve Reached A Major Milestone! 🎉

When we first launched JustFund in 2017, our mission was to simplify grantmaking and build a solution rooted in equity, trust, and transparency. By disrupting old models of giving and offering new ones that are equitable and trust-based, JustFund has fostered a collaborative, values-aligned community of grantmakers and grantseekers. Together, we’ve moved critical funding to under-resourced groups that are often excluded from traditional philanthropy.

After four years of moving funds to the frontlines, we are so excited to announce that JustFund has helped move $100 million to community-based and BIPOC-led organizations!

As the only nonprofit grantmaking platform developed by funders and organizers of color, we are thrilled to reach this major milestone and important step in our journey. Since our founding, we’ve worked with more than 400 grantmakers, including The Ford Foundation, East Bay Community Foundation, Way to Rise, The Emergent Fund, Amplify Fund, Decolonizing Wealth, and more than 4,000 organizations. This achievement wouldn’t be possible without the JustFund community’s shared vision to center equity in grantmaking and prioritize what matters most: getting the money to the movement.

To our values-aligned grantmakers and grantseekers: thank you for helping us reach this pivotal milestone. We are so grateful for your partnership and feel hopeful, optimistic, and inspired on what’s to come as we continue to reset philanthropy, together.

Warmly,
