Funding Historically Excluded Organizations
Dear JustFund Community,
JustFunders are off and running in 2022 as they center equity in their grantmaking and work to move more resources to historically excluded organizations. Our team has supported 177 grant cycles for 56 funds and foundations to date, giving more than 6,000 organizations the chance to apply for funding through the nation’s first common application. JustFunders have moved $122M to date to chronically underfunded communities and we are on track to bring that total to $250M by the end of 2022. We are incredibly proud to partner with this dynamic community of values-aligned grantmakers as we work together to reset philanthropy for good.
We’ve seen a rise in organizations receiving funding from multiple JustFunders, a trend we hope to grow more dramatically in 2022. This year we are partnering with several trusted donor networks and DAF providers to ensure more values-aligned philanthropic advisors, program officers, and individual donors can find and fund historically excluded, critical work happening on the frontlines through the JustFund portal.
